Banana Bank is owned by managed by John and Carolyn Carr - Carolyn, a well-known artist specializing in Belize street scenes, and John, a former Montana cowboy and real-live rodeo star. 

Together, they've created a very unique jungle lodge and equestrian center on the banks of the Belize River. 

At Banana Bank, guests can still discover relics of former Mayan civilizations on the grounds of the Lodge, visit Carolyn's studio, star-gaze through a Mead telescope, tour Mayan ruins, canoe the Belize River, tube through underground caves and experience the Belize jungle on a trail ride through the Banana Bank Equestrian Center.

Cave's Branch originated cave tubing in Belize and its specialty remains caves - wet caves, dry caves, ceremonial caves, rappelling into caves, hiking out of caves -- even a truly unique honeymoon cave adventure (and yes, it includes a night in a honeymoon cave suite).
 

But, Cave's Branch is not just caves - it's jungle treks with bushmen guides (day, evening and overnight), plus comfortable lodging on the banks of the Cave's Branch River, with a fully screened bunkhouse, jungle cabanas and well-appointed jungle suites (with large hot-water baths, no less). 

And, it's the food!  Meals are served family style at the Camp House -- the food is ample, ably prepared by some great cooks, and emphasizes fresh, locally grown and produced ingredients.

(It also helps that you'll be famished from the day's caving and jungle activities.)

All Cave's Branch guides are certified cavers, and receive special rescue training each year. 

In fact, Cave's Branch Rescue Team was the only Central American rescue team asked to assist in 911 rescue efforts, and the Team has played an integral part in rescue efforts after Hurricane's Mitch, Keith and Iris.
