Wave has a fascinating 20-year history. She was originally named the
Sebago, and was built in 1984 by Walter Green in Yarmouth, Maine.
The Sebago won several races during her first few
years before being "retired and converted for day sailing in 1989.
She was then sold and went to Key West where she
started the whole day sailing business there over 15 years ago, and has been
busy bringing pleasure to day passengers ever since. (However, she
still displays evidence of her racing pedigree with frequent speeds of over
15 knots.)
Next Wave is equipped with a marine toilet and
holding tank for guest comfort. Water toys include masks and snorkels,
foam noodles and rubber float rings. A fresh water spray rinses away
the salt after water activities.
Safety features include twin diesel engines, life
jackets, marine VHF radio, fire extinguisher and GPS.
