Belize started in Placencia in 1998 as a fishing guide service.
Most of our
anglers liked Belize so much that they started bringing their families
back with them - then kids grew up and needed help with honeymoons and
graduation trips -- and we eventually found ourselves providing a full
range of Belize travel agent services for all parts of our truly
beautiful and unique country.
So, we've
been knocking around Belize for just about 13 years now, and by this
time we know it pretty well. And, we also do our best to
use that knowledge to help our clients select the Belize vacation
locations and tours and activities that meet their interests -- and
their budgets.
 But,
we're not a big, impersonal travel agency that will send you a glossy
brochure full of beautiful pictures of beaches and beautiful people
enjoying the beautiful life. (Although we can arrange beautiful
people trips for all you lucky beautiful people out there.)
Instead, we
work with all our clients individually, helping each of them
understand the options available, how to get from here to there, where
to eat, when (and when not) to arrange tours and excursions ahead of
time, even down to the tiny details such as exactly where you go and
what you do when you step off the plane or bus when you arrive in
Belize.
We do offer
some Belize vacation packages, such as our
Spring and Winter
Specials, Belize Honeymoons,
Family Vacations
and Fishing Packages. If one
of these packages suit you to a "T" - great! We'll be happy to
handle the details for you. But, our packages are really put
together to demonstrate the range of options that our tiny little
country offers.
Additionally, Destinations Belize works with both individual clients
and with travel agencies that might need some assistance in helping
their own clients choose the best Belize options.
We hope you
