 Kanantik
Reef and Jungle Resort is a secluded and private beach resort in
southern Belize near Hopkins Village. Kanantik boasts its own
private airstrip, beautiful beachfront freshwater pool, two jungle
wildlife observation towers, gourmet restaurant and only 25
well-appointed thatched cabanas, each nestled into its own special nook
for maximum privacy.
 Kanantik
offers both al la carte and all-inclusive rates that include meals,
alcohol, air and ground transfers and all guided tours and excursions
except sport fishing and diving.
Guided
excursions include birdwatching, Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary,
Xunantunich Mayan ruins, Clarissa Falls, Mayflower Bocawina National
Park, jungle river canoeing and snorkeling at the Mesoamerican Barrier
Reef.
 All
cabanas are beachfront, and include air conditioning,
private bath, furnishings handcrafted from local hardwoods, large
verandah and daily maid service.
All guests receive complimentary use of beach hammocks, kayaks and Hobie
cats. Personal laundry service is also available (extra
charge for a la carte guests).
 Dining
room cuisine is a fusion of Mediterranean and Belizean Creole, focusing
on fresh seafoods, grilled meats and fresh tropical fruits and
vegetables. Sample dinner entrees include fresh broiled Caribbean
lobster on a bed of penne with fresh tomato sauce, a mixed grill of
lobster, fish, chicken and shrimp served with roasted potatoes,
and shrimp in cilantro sauce served with mashed potatoes and fresh local
vegetables.
