Inside or outside the reef, fish just "waiting for the catching" include Black Grouper, Wahoo, Mutton, Mangrove and Yellowtail Snapper, Jack Crevalle, Barracuda, Bonita, Yellow- and Black-fin Tuna, King Mackerel, Dorado.

No fancy flying bridges or high-tech fishing equipment here - just pure honest fishing - in an area accessible only by boats until 1986. 

Captain Tony Eiley is your captain and guide for blue water fishing aboard a 25' Mako equipped with live well, depth finder, radio, 150 hp Yamaha engine and bimini top. 

Captain Tony is a native Placencian who has been fishing Belize waters since 1962, both in Placencia and north off the  Turneffe islands and Ambergris Caye, as well as the Belize River.  (Tony is also a great cook, and owned his own restaurant in Placencia (Tentacles) for many years, so expect some great lunches during your fishing trips with him.)

Please note: services and goods in Belize are subject to a 12.5% general sales tax (GST).  Hotels/resorts must charge a 9% hotel tax on accommodations.  By law, all rates quoted for goods and services must include the GST, but quoted hotel room rates need not include the hotel tax.  All of our package rates include both GST and hotel taxes.  As required by law, rates for tours quoted on our Website include the 12.5% GST.  Many hotels and resorts also impose a service charge.  We have included service charges in package rates unless specifically stated otherwise.
