Lydia's Guesthouse
is owned by Miss Lydia, one of the civic leaders of Placencia Village
(and one of its best bakers, although you have to be persistent these
days since Lydia's usually so busy).
The
Guesthouse is located just south of The Captain's House, and across the
Sidewalk from Las Amigas Cabanas. Beautiful beach in front.
All rooms share a bath and have full shared kitchen privileges.
Dianni’s Guest House
offers clean, comfortable rooms with A/C and ceiling fans, private
hot/cold bath, refrigerator, coffee percolator and microwave.
Room have either a queen size bed or
one double and one
single bed.
Great large balcony with hammocks and swings.
Daily maid service as well as fresh fruits.
Dianni’s is within in walking distance
of many local restaurants, grocery stores,
and tour
operators.
Westwind Hotel
is in a great
location on the beach across the Sidewalk from Beach Bazaar Gift Shop.
Westwind
offers a variety of lodging options, including 2nd floor beachfront
rooms and two special family units, each with two bedrooms and private
verandah.

and goods in Belize are subject to a 12.5%
general sales tax (GST). Hotels/resorts must charge a 9% hotel tax
on accommodations.
By law, all rates quoted for goods and services must include the GST, but
quoted hotel room rates need not include the hotel tax. All of our package rates include both
GST and hotel taxes. As required by law, rates for tours quoted on our
Website include the 12.5% GST. Many hotels and resorts also
impose a service charge. We have included service charges in package
rates unless specifically stated otherwise.
